Caribbean lobster in season, whole snapper wrapped in banana leaf, sesame-crusted ahi and, in season, a seafood platter of shrimp, lobster, stone crab and calamari. Ask about the catch of the day.

I got the NY strip steak and the recommendation was to get the seafood risotto with it. Out of this world, very fresh and cooked perfectly. Next time I am in placencia I will be making a trip back to the sterling for sure!

I feel like we found a hidden gem. I did a lot of research in travel groups before coming to Placencia and no one mentioned Sterling's but the Valentine's Day menu was too appealing to consider anywhere else. They delivered and then some! Soup, pasta, steak, lobster, all cooked to perfection. Berry tiramisu light and refreshing to end our rich meal. Even the sweet potato mash and green beans had a little extra. Service was amazing. And price was very fair considering the meal. I missed a picture of the seafood ravioli but it was delicious and looked just as amazing as all the other plates. Don't sleep on this place.

Stay for one more.
As the sun goes down on Main Street, the wine comes out and the kitchen fires up the grill. Settle in on the veranda, order a steak cooked exactly the way you like it, and finish with an espresso martini.
